Last year we decided to invest in the latest apparel heat transfer technology with CMYK-W printers. This process allows for low run custom apparel by use of transferring a digital image to a "film", and pressing that with heat into a garment.

Unlike home transfer applications, the commercial apparel heat transfer process includes specialized printers that print white in addition to the CMYK standard colours. This allows for vibrant mixing of colours, and true white base applications.

This heat transfer technology also includes a film marrying process that puts a base colour of white onto the back of each pixel, making it work well with all garment colours, unlike DTG or other older applications.

The only downside to this technology is that it does not generally get less expensive, as you increase quantities. We can however have 50 shirts for you within 24 hours in many cases! Great for that emergency order.
